The Olympus Tough TG-6 Underwater Camera in red is the successor to the Olympus Tough TG-5. The camera has the same robust housing and the same possibilities for photo and video, but with improvements. The PT-059 underwater housing is included with this camera. This allows you to film 45 meters underwater instead of the usual 15 meters.

Just like the Tough 5, the Tough 6 has a 12-megapixel image sensor and TruePic VIII processor, giving you a long range and better performance in poor lighting conditions. This robust compact camera features an F2 lens, enabling fast shutter speeds for capturing moving subjects. The lens is equipped with double-layered glass, so that condensation has no hold. Various attachment lenses are available for the Tough that allow you to create a different perspective. Just like the Tough 5, the Tough 6 records movies in 4K and Full HD. You have the option to add a filter to your video so that you can make the video your own. If you want to see how your video turned out, you can view it on screen. 

You can also add sensor data to add more information to your photos. For example, a compass for the place where you have been and the temperature of the location. The data is then sent to your smartphone via the TG-6's built-in Wi-Fi and OI.Share. The Pro Capture Mode allows the camera to capture images both before and after the shutter is released. This way, the desired image is always available. 

Just like the Tough 5, the camera is robust and waterproof. Without effort you can film up to 15 meters deep under water. With the optional underwater housing you can even go underwater up to 45 meters! It is possible to attach an optional flash to this underwater housing, so that you have enough light in the dark areas. Furthermore, the camera survives a fall from a height of 2.1 meters and can withstand temperatures of -10° up to 40° Celsius. Olympus PT-059 underwater housing for the TG-6

The Olympus PT-059 is an underwater housing specially designed for the Tough TG-6. With this underwater housing you can shoot as deep as 45 meters instead of 15 meters underwater. The red front and multi-coated glass prevent reflections. In addition, you retain full control over all camera functions when the camera is in the housing.

The housing has a standard tripod mount for connecting a light arm and a threaded mount for attachments and filters. This allows you to get the most out of your Olympus TG-6 with optional accessories.
