The integration of RED's renowned colour science with the exclusive R3D NE codec gives you unprecedented freedom in post-production. This allows you to easily combine footage from the ZR with recordings from RED cameras. With over 15 stops of dynamic range and Dual Base ISO (800/6400), you retain detail and colour in any lighting scenario, from twilight to bright sunlight.

The camera also offers professional audio options with 32-bit float audio recording directly in the body. This allows you to record sound without worrying about clipping, with the freedom to adjust levels afterwards. Creative expression is enhanced by 4 cinematic video modes and 9 RED Picture Controls, allowing you to achieve a cinematic look straight out of the camera.

In addition, the ZR features fast and intelligent autofocus, in-body 5-axis image stabilisation and a bright 4-inch tilting monitor that supports the DCI-P3 colour gamut. The sturdy, fully weather-resistant body weighs only 540 grams and is perfectly expandable with Nikon accessories and third-party rigs.

The Nikon NIKKOR Z 24-70mm F/4.0 S is a standard zoom lens optimised for Nikon Z system cameras, including the full-frame Z6 and Z7. This lens is part of the S-Line series within the NIKKOR Z lenses, with which Nikon sets a standard for optical performance, quality and design. The variable focal length makes the lens suitable for various types of photography, from wide-angle shots to portraits.

The constant maximum aperture of F/4.0 makes the lens fast and ensures consistent exposure across the entire zoom range. The maximum aperture makes the lens ideal for low-light conditions. Without using high ISO values, your images will still be sharp and clear. With the constant aperture, you can zoom in smoothly and fluidly with even exposure for perfect images. Thanks to the large Z-mount, the lens captures more light. The distance between the mount and the sensor is short, making vignetting at the edges of the image a thing of the past.

The autofocus is fast and accurate. The multi-focus system with multiple AF drives ensures that subjects are brought into focus and remain sharp. Focusing is smooth and quiet, ideal for video recording. With a minimum focus distance of 30 cm, you can get very close to your subject, capturing every detail with razor-sharp clarity.

The NIKKOR Z 24-70mm F/4.0 S has an exceptional optical design for ultimate sharpness, accurate colour reproduction and impressive shadows. Aberrations are suppressed from close-up to infinity, ensuring sharp images right to the edges. The optical construction includes one ED element, two aspherical ED elements and three aspherical elements. The Nano Crystal Coat minimises ghosting and lens flare. A fluorine coating is applied to the front element and the lens is both dust and splash resistant.
