Razor-sharp and clear

Nikon's renowned 20.8 Megapixel DX-format CMOS sensor and EXPEED 6 processor ensure clear, sharp images. Even in low-light conditions, the sensor produces low-noise images, so you can shoot up to ISO 51,200 for photos and ISO 25,600 for videos. With the maximum continuous shooting speed of 11 fps, you can capture all the action in razor-sharp detail. The in-camera timelapse merges photos and videos to create interesting effects. Built-in presets and filters allow you to fine-tune your images right in the camera, so they're instantly ready to share.

In addition to photos, you can record video footage in 4K Ultra HD resolution with 24 or 30 fps.  For smooth slow motion, shoot images in 1080p Full HD with 60 fps. You can record up to two hours of video, ideal for when you need longer, uninterrupted footage. You can also easily livestream with the Z30, so you always stay connected with your followers.

Designed for creators

With the 1.04M-dot LCD screen, you can keep a close eye on your subject. The sharp display has a diameter of 3 inches and can be tilted and rotated, ideal for vlogging! The selfie-style controls allow you to adjust settings such as focus position, exposure and self-timer via the touchscreen when the LCD screen is tilted forward. The red light on the front clearly indicates when you're recording, so you never have to check whether you're filming again. Audio is recorded by the stereo microphone on the top. For better sound quality, it's possible to connect a microphone via the 3.5 mm external microphone port.

Fast, reliable, simple

The 290-point Hybrid Auto Focus system uses both phase-detection and contrast-detection methods to focus quickly and accurately in both videos and photos. The face and eye detection recognises people, dogs and cats. Subjects are accurately tracked and kept in focus as they move through the scene. The digital e-VR image stabilisation ensures that your handheld videos look stable and smooth and that unwanted vibrations are reduced during filming.

The built-in Wi-Fi and Bluetooth functions make it easy to share all your images, so you don't have to mess around with cables and memory cards. In combination with the SnapBridge app, you can control the camera remotely and wirelessly transfer photos and videos to your smartphone or tablet. The Nikon Z30 has an HDMI and USB Type-C connection for connecting to external devices and charging.

With a 55 mm diameter, the Z-mount is the largest full-frame mount of any camera system. This makes the Z-mount the new industry benchmark. A larger mount means more light, and more light means even higher image quality.
