Leofoto MPG-02L Gimbal Head
Convert your ball head into a gimbal head with the Leofoto MPG-02L Gimbal Head. Ideal for nature and sports photography. This module can be mounted directly on Arca-Swiss quick couplers or screwed onto a monopod with 1/4" or 3/8" threads.
Conventional gimbal heads are quite bulky and can weigh a kilo or more. Moreover, they are only marginally suitable for normal landscape, architectural or portrait photography. Gimbal heads are designed for specific purposes.
With the MPG-02, you transform any ball head with an Arca-Swiss-compatible quick coupling into a gimbal head in no time. Its low weight of just under 480 grams and compact size means it fits in almost any camera bag or backpack.
Thanks to the 1/4" and 3/8" tripod threads, it can also be combined with a monopod at any time. It is particularly suitable for video monopods with a horizontal swivel base. The MPG-02L features a quick release clamp with locking function.

For the metal parts, Leofoto uses the high-quality 6061-T6 aluminium alloy with magnesium and silicon as alloy components. This corrosion-resistant material is characterised by high strength and good toughness.
