The Leica Summicron-M 28 f/2 ASPH is a powerful and bright lens, equipped with improved technical features that match the latest sensor technologies.
With this Summicron-M lens you can enjoy new photographic possibilities, thanks to the combination of a focal length of 28 mm and a minimum focusing distance of only 40 cm. Focusing up to 70 cm is done, as with previous models, via the optical rangefinder. Then, after a noticeable resistance within the extended range between 70 – Focus 40 cm via the Live View on the built-in screen, the Visoflex 2 or with the Leica FOTOS app.
The lens construction of this lens consists of 9 elements in 6 groups, which ensures detailed, high-contrast images. The 10 aperture blades also provide beautiful bokeh with a large aperture.
The Leica Summicron-M 28 F/2 has a compact and handy design. The lens is equipped with a built-in lens hood, which can be retracted and extended with one movement of the wrist.
