Kase Magnetic Variable ND 2-5 Stops Filter 77mm
The Kase magnetic variable ND filter 77mm has 2-5 stops of light reduction. The frame is made of high-quality aluminium and is anodized in matte black to reduce any light reflections. The filter is magnetically attached to the lens via an adapter ring. To prevent vignetting, the glass of the VND filter has a diameter of 95 mm and a very thin edge.
The magnetism between the filter and the adapter ring allows for super-fast mounting and dismounting. With a handy lever, the filter is very easy and infinitely adjustable, making it easier to control the exposure than with conventional fixed ND filters. This makes the filter ideal for videography, where permanent adjustment to changing lighting conditions is necessary. To prevent the filter from sliding along, a notch has been made where the filter fits into the ring.
The filter is made of KW glass and has 26 different coatings on both sides. The design is such that vignetting or an X-cross effect is not visible in the largest stop position. A magnetic lens cap is optionally available to protect the filter.
