Thanks to this grip you can hold your camera more easily, take portraits more easily and also keep shooting longer. The grip has room for two EN-EL14 batteries. With this grip it is easier to take portrait photos because the shutter button is on the side of the grip. So once you hold the camera in portrait mode then the shutter button is on the top as it makes it easier to photograph. At the bottom of the grip is a tripod connection so that you can mount your camera in its entirety on a tripod.
