Description
The Jobu Design Algonquin Carbon Tripod is an extremely stable tripod made from 100% carbon. It is designed to provide full motion freedom, which is ideal for for example nature photography. The tripod is made up of three sections and has a solid tripod plate of aluminum. This creates an enormous strength but also a low weight (1.900g).
The use of heat-treated solid aluminum makes the tripod body, the base plate and the latches of the Jobu Design Algonguin tripod stiffer and more solid than those of many other tripods, preventing unwanted vibrations. Deliberately no central column is used in order to not compromise the stability and the robust 3/8-inch tripod screw guarantees a perfect attachment of a swing head or other type of tripod head.
Because of the perfect fit and finish using the tripod is super smooth. Grooved aluminum twist-lock leg locks make the operation comfortable in use - even when used with winter gloves. For extra stability, the rubber feet of the legs can be removed, releasing the underlying spikes. The tripod is loadable to over 25 kilos and the maximum working height is 1,57m. When folded the tripod is only 68cm long.
