Description
Hollyland Pyro Ultra Transmitter
The Hollyland Pyro Ultra Transmitter is the transmitter of the Pyro Ultra system. It takes the video signal from your camera and sends it wirelessly to one or more receivers. Note: this is the transmitter only. To receive the signal, you need a separate Hollyland Pyro Ultra Receiver. Want to get started right away with a complete setup? Check out the Hollyland Pyro Ultra 1TX/1RX set or the 1TX/2RX set.
The transmitter uses Hollyland’s TWiFi technology, which combines two frequency bands (2.4 GHz and 5 GHz) into one stable connection. This provides a range of up to 1.5 km in open space. In busy environments, the transmitter automatically switches between frequencies so the signal won’t drop. The Pyro Ultra is also DFS certified, meaning it may use additional frequency space that is normally reserved.
With Focus Mode, latency drops to just 20 ms. That makes this transmitter particularly suitable for focus pulling, where you need to follow the focus point in real time. The transmitter has both an HDMI and an SDI input and an HDMI loop out, allowing you to monitor the image locally on a monitor. You can also stream directly via USB C to a computer or via RTMP to an online platform.
Are you currently working with a Pyro H or Pyro S? The Pyro Ultra offers a major step forward. While the Pyro H and Pyro S have a range of 400 meters and support a maximum of two receivers, the Pyro Ultra goes up to 1.5 km and connects an unlimited number of receivers in Broadcast Mode. In addition, the Ultra offers both HDMI and SDI, 4K60 transmission, and Focus Mode, features that the Pyro H and Pyro S lack.
