The Hähnel HLX-EL15HP Extreme - Nikon EN-EL15A/B/C is an exceptional High Power camera battery developed for use in Nikon SLR and system cameras. This robust, cold- and shock-resistant camera battery is an excellent replacement for the original Nikon EN-EL15A/B/C battery. In fact, the Hähnel Extreme delivers equivalent performance, but is more robust and has a longer lifespan.
The battery has a capacity of 2000 mAh and an output of 7V. What makes the Hähnel Extreme camera batteries unique is the fact that every empty space in the housing is filled with silicone. This not only insulates better against cold (when cold, a regular battery drains faster), but it also makes these camera batteries more shock-resistant. Ideal for outdoor sportsmen and active photographers. In addition, the electrical circuit is better insulated and, of course, only the highest quality cells are used. This results in rock-solid batteries that provide power for the hard work for longer.
