On the front and back is an LCD screen. The front screen measures 1.4" and the rear touchscreen screen measures 2.27". A comfortable handle is included with built-in buttons. This allows you to operate the camera with one hand. The handle has a built-in battery for a runtime of 4 hours when recording in 4K. The tripod legs are foldable. In addition, the handgrip can also be used as a wireless remote control for the camera. It includes a 1/4-20 accessory mount. This is compatible with GoPro mounts. This gives you a straight horizon as you rotate the camera. Horizon Lock ensures a stable horizon that stays straight while images remain fluid. This works well in combination with HyperSmooth 5.0, eliminating the need for a gimbal to deliver professional footage.

Of course, the GoPro Hero 11 is just as rugged and waterproof as its predecessor. Go underwater, crawl through mud or enjoy yourself in the snow. It's all possible down to a depth of 10 metres. Furthermore, the camera features a scratch-resistant lens hood for even more protection. The hood can be easily replaced when needed. The updated Enduro battery included improves the camera's performance. It now lasts up to 38% longer in cold temperatures. The battery also charges faster, leaving you more time to dive into the snow.

Choose between 8-bit or 10-bit colours to capture your adventures. The GoPro Hero 11 has over 1 billion colours, so with 10-bit you'll create enhanced colour depth, smoother gradations and more realism in your photos and videos.

Control the GoPro the way you want. There are two options: point and shoot or full camera control. With full control, the mode and settings are customisable to your liking. The point and shoot option is set with versatile shooting settings applicable to most shots. Pick an angle, press the button and the camera does the work.

You can also have hours of fun with the night effects. Three new timelapse modes have been added. Star Trails is suitable for capturing the light trails of the sky. Light Trails gives you the same effect, but for vehicles. Light Painting lets you create brushstroke effects with moving light.

Put the GoPro Hero 11 on the charger when you get home. Once you are connected to WiFi, the files will be uploaded to the Cloud while charging. At that point, a highlight video is created complete with music. The end result is sent to your phone so you can share the highlights on social media right away.
