Description
Panasonic Lumix G LEICA DG VARIO-ELMAR 100-400mm F/4.0-6.3 II ASPH. POWER OIS
The Panasonic Lumix G Leica DG 100-400mm F/4.0-6.3 II is a compact, lightweight lens with a long range. With an equivalent focal length of 200-800mm, this lens is ideal for wildlife, sports and action photography. It is even possible to extend the focal length with a teleconverter. On a full frame camera, you would then end up with a maximum focal length of 1120mm or 1600mm. Despite its long range, the lens weighs just 985g, making it easy to carry around all day.
Another great plus is that this lens is also suitable for macro photography. With a maximum magnification of 0.5x and a huge zoom range, you can capture the smallest of subjects and render them large. By incorporating state-of-the-art Leica components into the lens, it yields high image quality over the full range. Enhanced focus tracking lets you capture even the fastest subjects in sharp focus. An additional feature is the Zoom Limit Switch with which you can limit the lens' zoom range. Saving both your time and battery.
The Power OIS system, which is also compatible with the Dual IS function, helps minimise camera shake for sharper shots at long focal lengths. Plus, the lens is dust & moisture resistant. One difference from its predecessor is that the lens is even resistant to the cold. As a result, you can use it in all weather conditions, when the lens will consistently yield optimal performance. Thanks to the integrated tripod mount, you can quickly toggle between horizontal and vertical shots, for flawless tripod or monopod work. So you'll never again miss a critical moment.
