Description
With the Arca-Swiss D4 GP Classic, you can tilt your camera and turn it in three-dimensional space. The tripod head has a Classic Knob Quick Release; this combines the benefits of a spherical head and a 3D tilting head in one compact system. The D4 is relatively small (11 cm) and lightweight (977 grams) but can carry up to 34 kg. When the X and Y axis are open, the camera can be moved freely. However, in contrast to a spherical head, the X and Y axis movements can also be made separately. If one of the axes is fixed, movements can be performed with even more precision. In addition to manual operation, the d4 also offers the precision of individual gear-driven vertical/horizontal movements when the locking levers are attached, with quick release couplings for quick major adjustments. Another distinctive feature is the individual 360 ° panning equipment at the top and bottom of the head. The bottom device ensures camera alignment, while the top device facilitates the execution of accurate panoramas and rotations. Two spirals, that are attached 90 ° under the top panorama adjustment, are sufficiently visible to facilitate effective leveling even from a low point of view. This head is compatible with both classic Arca-Swiss and newer Arca-Swiss type as with the newer Arca-Swiss MonoballFix-type camera plates.
