The Fotodiox Pro Lens Mount Adapter - Nikon Nikkor F Mount D/SLR to Large Format 4x5 View Cameras with a Graflok Rear Standard is an adapter that allows you to use your large format 4x5 camera with a Nikon F-mount camera. This adapter allows you to mount your film or digital back on popular large format 4x5 cameras (works on all 4x5 cameras with the graflok rear standard). This adapter board mounts backs in a vertical position and slides from left to right, allowing more of the scene to be scanned and captured.
The full digital image can be composed using your computer. The sliding adapter allows you to 'scan' the 4x5 back so that the multiple images can be pasted together with image-editing software into a giant mega-file with amazing detail and clarity. The sliding blade has ascending markings to help with positioning and a tension screw to hold the sliding blade in place while shooting. This Fotodiox Pro series adapter has been manufactured with extreme precision for the best possible fit. Like all Pro-series adapters, these are specially made to withstand professional lenses and repeated use.
