FlashQ Q20III Manual Flash black
LightPix Labs introduces the FlashQ Q20III Manual Flash in black as the third generation of the FlashQ Q20 series - with the same reliability and improved features. Still compact and lightweight, the Q20III comes with a brand new diffuser panel, a colour gel holder with seven different colour gels and a convenient USB-C interface (instead of the previous micro-USB port).
In addition, the Q20III has an extra lamp indicator for flash and video modes for a more intuïtie experience. This cost-efficient manual exposure solution still offers advanced trigger and control functions. The Flash weighs just 113 grams and measures 10.8 x 5.8 x 2.8 cm, making it easy to fit into tight spaces where larger units won't fit.
With a guide number of 19.8 metres at ISO 100, the Q20III has manual power selection from 1/64 to full power, runs on two separately available alkaline or rechargeable NiMH batteries and recharges back to full power in six to seven seconds, depending on the batteries used. Only rechargeable NiMH batteries support charging via USB-C.
The improved Q20III Flash is equipped with a colour gel holder to expand your options. Easily attach and remove gels in seven different colours to get your desired light colour. The diffuser panel is another valuable addition to the Q20III housing.
One of the flash's clever features is the RF transmitter built into the detachable base and the receiver built into the flash housing. By detaching the transmitter and mounting the flash. With the Q20III remotely mounted on a light stand, you can adjust the power and trigger the flash via the transmitter on the camera, up to a distance of 10 metres.
With the Q20III, you can set the flash power from 1/64 (minimum power) to 1/1 (maximum power). These seven steps of flash power ratios can be adjusted with two buttons.
The Q20III functions as a typical flash gun on camera when attached to the supplied FlashQ transmitter on the hot shoe. By removing the flash, you switch to wireless mode so you can also use it separately from the camera. Wireless triggering and power adjustment can then be performed via the transmitter on the Camera. The Q20III's FlashQ system supports up to eight Q20III flashes simultaneously.
This third generation is developed with a USB-C interface, so you can charge via standard USB power sources, such as your Computer or USB adapters. This requires two separately available rechargeable NiMH batteries on the lamp body. The transmitter can be easily charged via the USB-C port.
