The Elgato Wave DX dynamic microphone is built to deliver condenser-like audio performance without noise for podcasters, streamers and content creators. It features a forgiving cardioid polar pattern for unidirectional recording and a stronger-than-average output signal, delivering powerful sound without the need for in-line microphone activators. With a frequency response specifically tuned for the human voice and an optimized proximity effect that makes it easier than ever to place the microphone close for full, rich-sounding vocal recordings, this microphone is an ideal choice for the modern content producer.
The Wave DX has an internal pop filter that significantly reduces plosives during recording, as well as a hardened steel chassis that improves durability and reduces internal noise artifacts. This microphone features an adjustable 5/8" swivel yoke mount that is compatible with all boom arms and prevents cable clamps, and the microphone also comes with 3/8" and 1/4" adapters for mounting on more traditional microphone stands.
