Description
DZOFilm Pictor Zoom Bundle 50-125/20-55 T2.8 WHT
The DZOFilm Pictor Zoom Bundle 50-125/20-55 T2.8 WHT is a high-quality white lens set specifically designed for professional cine productions. This bundle consists of two lenses and offers a wide and continuous zoom range, combined with a relatively fast constant T2.8 aperture across the entire range. This makes the set suitable for a wide variety of shooting situations, from wide-angle to telephoto, without compromising image quality or consistency.
Both lenses are developed for Super35 sensors and share nearly identical dimensions, weight, gear positions, and an identical front diameter. This allows for fast and efficient lens changes on set, without the need to readjust accessories such as matte boxes, follow focus systems, or motors. The white finish also helps limit heat absorption during long shoots under bright lighting conditions.
The lenses are supplied as standard with a PL mount and are complemented with a Canon EF mount, making them compatible with a wide range of digital cinema cameras. Thanks to the parfocal design, focus is maintained while zooming, which is essential for professional video and film productions. Floating lens elements ensure that focus breathing is kept to a minimum, resulting in a stable and natural image.
Both zoom lenses are equipped with a 16-blade aperture, which produces round, smooth out-of-focus highlights and a pleasing cinematic bokeh. The cine-style gear rings on focus, iris, and zoom make the lenses fully compatible with professional cine accessories. The 95 mm front diameter supports standard matte boxes, while the 86 mm filter thread provides additional flexibility when using filters.
For added stability, each lens is equipped with a lens support foot, allowing the lens to be supported on rods to reduce strain on the camera mount. The set is delivered complete with a sturdy protective case, ensuring safe transport and storage of the lenses.
This DZOFilm Pictor zoom lens bundle is a versatile and reliable choice for cinematographers looking for consistent performance, a cinematic look, and maximum efficiency on set.
