The SIGMA 50mm F/1.4 DG DN Art is a versatile, high-quality lens in the SIGMA Art series. It is equipped with the latest technologies and materials to achieve the best optical results. The lens consists of 14 elements divided into 11 groups, and has 3 aspherical elements and 1 SLD glass element. As a result, you no longer experience image distortion or colour blur, and the SIGMA 50mm F/1.4 DG DN Art guarantees a beautiful, clear image quality. With a maximum aperture of f/1.4 and 11 aperture blades, you also create beautiful bokeh with this lens.
The SIGMA 50mm F/1.4 DG DN Art is equipped with the SIGMA HLA motor (High-response Linear Actuator). This makes the autofocus extremely fast, accurate and quiet. A double-sided, aspherical lens element is used as the focus element. As a result, the lens is not only fast and quiet, but it also has a very high tracking performance.
The SIGMA 50mm F/1.4 DG DN Art has a focus switch, a lock button for the aperture ring, and an AFL button with which you can assign a camera function to the lens. It is dust and splash resistant and has a water and oil repellent coating.
