The Sigma 24-70mm F/2.8 DG OS HSM Art Nikon is a versatile wide-angle zoom lens. It’s brightness, integrated image stabiliser and hypersonic focus motor make it suitable for a diverse range of situations. As it’s part of the Sigma Art series, the design of the lens focuses on advanced optical quality. The optical construction consists of 19 lens elements divided across 14 groups. Three Super Low Dispersion (SLD) elements and four aspherical elements minimise chromatic and aspherical aberrations, as well as colour shift, distortion and other aberrations, for improved clarity and sharpness in your shots. The elements feature Super Multi-Layer Coating to suppress lens flare and ghosting and to ensure accurate colour representation and a high contrast. In addition, the front element has a protective coating, which allows you to use the lens in various situations. The constant maximum aperture of F/2.8 increases the versatility of this lens and ensures consistent performance across the entire zoom range, as well as improved control over depth of field.
