The Canon EOS R5 C is a professional video-oriented camera. This mirrorless camera brings together the functionalities of Cinema EOS and EOS R, with video in first place. That makes it the perfect hybrid solution for any videographer who also likes to shoot. With 8K video, 45 megapixel photos, and the revolutionary RF mount, the EOS R5 C is ready for anything.

Shoot cinema-quality 8K video at 30 fps or Full HD 4K videos with oversampling. Using an external power supply, the EOS R5 C is even capable of operating at 60 fps in 8K. The full frame CMOS sensor delivers images with incredible clarity, minimal space, and a wide dynamic range. Achieve burst speeds of up to 20 photos per second and shoot in low light with ISO sensitivity up to 51,200. The powerful 5 axis electronic IS works seamlessly with the optical IS in lenses, but can also work independently.

The EOS R5 C features fast, accurate Dual Pixel CMOS AF technology with Eye AF and EOS iTR AF X for reliable detection of faces, heads, and eyes. This works even if the subject turns away from the camera. Manual focusing is also very easy, thanks to Canon's innovative Dual Pixel Focus-Guide, a visual aid for razor-sharp results.

Professional recording formats and tools give you a wide range of creative options. There are three Cinema RAW Light options (LT/ST/HQ), XF-AVC, MP4, and even RAW output via HDMI. Canon Log 3, PQ, and HLG recordings provide an unprecedented dynamic range, and with professional tools such as Waveform Monitor and False Colours you can elevate your film projects to the next level.

The compact design of the EOS R5 C with an active cooling system, is suitable for lengthy recordings. The magnesium alloy body is exceptionally durable. There are two options by the on/off switch: Photo and Video. Here, you choose whether to start up the camera as a photo or video camera. Both modes have their own recognisable menu, associated with the EOS R and Cinema EOS system. The OLED viewfinder has a high resolution and the camera features a bright 3.2” fold-out LCD screen. Plus, there are 13 assignable buttons. Thanks to the RF mount, the EOS R5 C is compatible with the RF lenses for Canon's full frame mirrorless cameras, and you get to enjoy the benefits of advanced autofocus and stabilisation. Of course, with an EF-EOS R mount adapter it is also possible to use your EF photo and cinema lenses. With 2x, 1.8x, and 1.3x desqueeze options, there's also anamorphic lens compatibility.

Endless connectivity includes Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, the multi-function accessory shoe, and dedicated connections for time code, 3.5 mm microphone, micro HDMI, flash sync, and USB-C. Canon RF 50mm F1.2 L USM

The Canon RF 50 mm F1.2 L USM is characterized by its speed and is a prime lens for the normal length thanks to the versatile focal length and the bright f/1.2 maximum aperture. This fast design excels in difficult lighting conditions and also has advantages when working with shallow depth of field and selective focussing techniques. A rounded diaphragm with 10 blades also benefits from bokeh quality to isolate subjects with depth of field. An addition to the imaging capabilities is an ultrasonic ring-type motor, which bridges fast, virtually silent autofocus and full-time manual focus. In addition, a unique control ring is integrated into the lens design for intuitive operation of the exposure settings of the lens itself.
