Canon XA 75
The Canon XA75 is a compact, lightweight camcorder that takes 4K recordings, has a 1" CMOS sensor, two XLR audio inputs, a mini HDMI output and a 3G-SDI output. This camcorder is ideal for documentary makers and producers. As opposed to its predecessor, the XA55, this model features a larger LCD touchscreen display, a tiltable, higher resolution 0.36" OLED EVF, OSD metadata recording, and a USB type-C output with UVC support for livestreaming to a computer.
Integrated lens with 15x optical zoom
The camcorder has an integrated 15x optical HD zoom, and has a 9 aperture blade lens structure for low-light recording. The camera feature countless other functions, such as an advanced Dual-Pixel CMOS AF for fast & accurate focus with face detection and face tracking. Easily select your focus points using the LCD display.
Optimal image quality in 4K
This camcorder takes 4K recordings at 30 frames per second and Full HD recordings at 60 frames per second. The camera can record video up to 1920 x 1080 10-bit 4:2:2. With this you get the option to record in fast or slow-mo, with the additional support of the DIGIC DV 6 image processor and an ND filter for noise reduction, and you can choose between the various framing controls. The built-in stereo microphone delivers sound to your footage, but you can always simply add external audio equipment via the XLR inputs and the 3.5 mm mini jack connector. The recordings are saved on two SD card slots.
Livestreaming and On-Screen Display recordings
This camcorder offers OSD recordings (On-Screen Display). The date, time, time code and other details are added to your camera files, whereby every video frame is stamped. This is a prerequisite for those using this camcorder for judicial and enforcement purposes.
Livestreaming is also an option. Simply transmit from your camcorder via an UVC1 to a Windows or MAC computer. With this, audio output via USB isn't supported.
