Canon RF 50mm F/1.8 STM

The Canon RF 50mm F/1.8 STM is a slim prime lens with a standard focal length and a classic, versatile angle of view in a particularly compact design. This 50mm F/1.8 is the ideal lens for everyday walkaround shooting and is characterized by its design for low-light shooting and good control over depth of field.

The Canon RF 50mm F/1.8 STM is designed for use with full-frame Canon RF-mount system cameras. The F/1.8 aperture is suitable for working in challenging lighting conditions and also offers greater control over depth of field. The rounded 7-blade diaphragm contributes to a pleasing bokeh quality.

A precision-molded (PMo) aspherical lens element suppresses spherical aberrations and distortion for high sharpness and accurate subject rendering. Super Spectra coating is applied to individual lens elements to minimize ghosting and flare for higher contrast and color neutrality when working in bright lighting conditions.

The STM stepping motor of the Canon RF 50mm F/1.8 STM provides fast, quiet, smooth and accurate autofocus, ideal for photos and videos. The configurable control ring can be used to adjust various exposure settings, including aperture, ISO and exposure compensation.
