High-quality professional video recordings

Make razor-sharp video recordings in 8K with the full frame CMOS sensor. Shoot your high-quality videos with 30fps or even 60fps when you power the camera externally. With Cinema RAW Light, you make internal 12-bits RAW recordings up to 2.6 Gbps. There are also options for 4:2:2 10-bits XF-AVC 810 Mbps recordings and HEVC 540 Mbps. Thanks to Canon Log 3, PQ and HLG capture, your images will have an exceptionally high 14-stops dynamic range.

45 megapixel photos and high burst speeds

The full frame CMOS sensor produces photos with a resolution as high as 45 mexapixels. Benefit from the freedom during the post-processing to make the perfect cutting or hang your best photos in poster format on the wall. With burst speeds of 20 (electronic) and 12 (mechanical) photos per second, you are always ready for the fastest action and the ideal moment is guaranteed to be included.

Long-term recording with an active cooling system

With a new active cooling system, you can make 8K recordings without time limits. The EOS R5 C may be compact and lightweight, but it has a built-in fan and an outlet at the back. Thanks to the firm body and magnesium alloy, you also enjoy professional durability.

Accurate and fast Dual Pixel CMOS AF

The camera is equipped with Canon's reliable Dual Pixel CMOS AF autofocus technology. Eye AF and EOS iTR AF X ensure accurate focus, even if the subject is not looking into the camera. With the innovative Dual Pixel Focus Guide, the camera helps you to always achieve the right focus, also with a manual focus.

5 axis electronic image stabilisation

Also, without a gimbal or stabilisation system, thanks to the advanced 5 axis electronic image stabilisation, you shoot flowing and stable 'handheld' images. This technology works seamlessly in combination with both stabilised and non-stabilised lenses.

Anamorphic lens compatibility

With 2x, 1.8x, and 1.3x desqueeze options, the EOS R5 C has anamorphic lens compatibility. This makes the camera the perfect partner for the 5.2 mm F2.8L Dual Fisheye-lens. Record the world in virtual reality and create razor-sharp 180° VR content.
