Canon EF 70-200mm F2.8 L IS USM III
The Canon EF 70-200mm F2.8 L IS USM III is one of the most versatile lenses available. It is a telephoto zoom lens from the L series that stands out for its clear design and advanced optics. Ideal for a variety of subjects, ranging from portraits to sports, the fast constant f/2.8 maximum aperture excels in difficult lighting conditions and also offers more control over depth of field for isolating subjects. The optical layout uses a fluorite element and five UD elements to suppress chromatic aberrations and color edges to achieve a high degree of clarity over the zoom range. An Air Sphere coating is also present and reduces glare and ghosts for better color fidelity and contrast in all conditions.
In addition to the speed and optics, there is an optical image stabilizer, which compensates for 3.5 stops of camera movement to facilitate shooting from the hand and in situations with low light. A ring type USM and an internal focusing mechanism provide fast, silent and accurate autofocus performance, as well as permanent manual overrunning. Moreover, this lens is weatherproof for use in harsh environmental conditions.
