Canon CR-N300 WH
The Canon CR-N300 is a PTZ camera with extensive features for fluid panning, tilting and zooming. This makes the camera ideally suited for live productions, broadcast and event streaming. It is also perfect for use in education and business. With 4K video and 20x zoom, you bring everything into focus in razor-sharp fashion for your remote viewers.
The CR-N300 features a 1/2.3” CMOS sensor and DIGIC DV6 processor. It shoots 4K Ultra HD at up to 29.97 frames per second. The lens has a focal length of 29.3 to 601mm in 35mm equivalent. That equates to a maximum viewing angle of 65.6º (horizontal) and 39.8º (vertical). With eight aperture blades and a maximum aperture of f/1.8 at wide-angle and f/2.8 zoomed in, it is possible to create beautiful bokeh behind your subjects. In addition, Hybrid autofocus ensures that you can focus quickly and accurately, even in low light.
The PTZ camera supports a wide range of IP streaming and control protocols such as NDI|HX2*, RTMP/RTMPS, RTP/RTSP and Canon’s XC protocol, making it easy to integrate into your workflow. It also features various connectivity options such as HDMI, 3G-SDI and USB. Note that output via SDI and USB is limited to Full HD (1920x1080. Via HDMI or IP, you enjoy the full potential with 4K video.
The CR-N300's control mechanism is extremely precise, allowing precise adjustment of pan and tilt movements at different speeds. The camera can be controlled by remote control, Canon's free Remote Camera Control application, the RC-IP100 controller or other selected third-party controllers. The CR-N300 is intended for indoor use.
New driver for extended PTZ functionality
From April 2022, a free driver is available for download for the Canon PTZ camera’s that makes the CR-N300 and CR-N500 easy and seamless to deploy for higher education, houses of worship and workplace environments. Support for two new protocols, SRT and FreeD, has also been added. These provide simple and cost-effective solutions for VR and AR productions, as well as high-quality streaming with minimal downtime.
