The Lav Concealer for the Sennheiser ME2 is a soft, flexible holder that can be attached in a variety of ways and adapts to the surface to which it is attached. The soft rubber also acts as a shock-absorbing holder. This protects the microphone capsule from vibrations and absorbs friction noise. Because the friction noises are absorbed, you get clear sound recordings and therefore better sound quality. This Lav Concealer has a Sennheiser ME2 attachment that fits perfectly around the capsule and makes it easier to hide your microphone. It also protects against adhesive residue that occurs when you repeatedly stick tape directly onto the microphone. The Lav Concealer can be attached directly to the skin or clothing thanks to the Lav Concealer Tape. The tape is super strong, hypoallergenic and easy to apply. This allows you to attach it to fabric or skin without worry for sound recording. In addition, the Lav Concealer is also more environmentally friendly because the natural rubber used is biodegradable. In terms of clarity, the use of soft, flexible rubber means that it absorbs more vibrations than harder materials (e.g. plastic), so unnecessary noise never reaches the capsule. The Lav Concealer comes with a fabric protective cap and a clothing clip made of resilient metal. These are attached to the concealer in small holes on the front and back. Using two different materials together prevents friction or vibrations from being transferred from one material to the other and ultimately reaching the capsule. The fabric protective cap and clothing clip are removable and can be attached to the front or back of the Lav Concealer to lift the fabric of the entire concealer and quickly attach it to clothing seams.
