The Braun Scouting Cam Black550 Outdoor-Cam is a versatile wildlife camera. Whether for photo trapping, nest surveillance or other monitoring, the new Braun Black 550 produces high-resolution video’s and photos’s. The camera has a 5MP CMOS sensor for high-quality day and night shots. Video resolution can varyër from 2.7K (at 20fps) to 1080p, 720p or 480p (30fps each). Image resolution can be changed between 24 and 1MP. Besides video’s and photo’s, the camera can also take timelapse shots.
The Braun Black550 has a passive infrared sensor with three different sensitivities that detects motion. Thanks to a detection angle of 120 degrees, a trigger distance of up to 20 metres and a trigger time of just 0.5 seconds, you capture everything accurately. Settings are easy to adjust with the help of the integrated control panel and 2” colour LCD display. You can also easily and quickly review recordings on the display. Recordings are stored on an SD memory card of up to 256GB. The camera is easy to connect to your computer or television thanks to a micro-USB connection.
Further features include an integrated microphone, password protection and various information on date, time, moon phase and temperature. The robust housing is water- and dust-resistant, so you can attach it anywhere with a mounting strap. The operating temperature of the camera is between the of -20 ° C and + 70 ° C. Power is provided by eight AA batteries or optionally by a6V 1.5A power supply.
