Wildlife cameras help foresters and hunters gain valuable insights into their hunting grounds. But photo traps can also be wisely used to observe objects such as allotments or garages and prevent theft and vandalism. The Braun Scouting Cam Black1300 Outdoor-Cam is specially designed for surveillance tasks. With its 13-megapixel CMOS image sensor, the Scouting Cam Black1300 advances to the new top model of Braun Photo Technik's wildlife camera series.
The compact camera has three PIR motion sensors and can take photos and videos in colour during the day and black-and-white at night. Various recording functions such as single images, videos (including 4K at 10fps) and time-lapse recordings, which are stored on an SD card (up to 128GB maximum), are possible. With a detection angle of 120 degrees, a trigger distance of up to 20 metres and a trigger time of about 0.5 seconds, the Black1300 produces sharp images. The Scout Cam has a 2 '' TFT colour display to monitor images. In addition, the Black1300 has an integrated microphone, speaker, password protection and information on date, time, moon phase and temperature.
Thanks to a practical mounting strap or the included cradle, the robust and water-jet-protected (IP66) wildlife camera can be easily attached to the desired location.
The operating temperatures varyëfrom -10°C to +60°C. Standby time is about six months. Power is provided by eight AA batteries (not included). Optionally, the camera can be powered via a power unit (not included).
