The BOYA CastMic G40 is a USB condenser microphone with a 14mm large diaphragm, specially designed for content creators. The supercardioid pickup pattern focuses strongly on sound directly in front of the microphone and effectively suppresses sounds from the sides and rear. With 192kHz/24-bit audio, a signal-to-noise ratio of 85dB and a maximum sound pressure level of 125dB, the microphone captures voices clearly and in detail, from whispering to loud. The fourfold noise reduction actively filters out keyboard noise, ambient noise and vibrations. You activate the built-in noise reduction with a long press on the top of the microphone.
The microphone has three separate buttons for microphone gain, headphone volume and the balance between your voice and the computer sound. This way, you always keep control over your mix without affecting what your audience hears. With one tap on the mute button, you instantly mute the microphone, with a red LED light as confirmation. The nine RGB lighting effects and the sound-reactive lighting pattern can be adjusted with a button on the microphone itself, without extra software. You connect the microphone plug-and-play via USB to PC, Mac, iPhone, iPad and Android devices.
