The Benro FGP28A System GoPlus Aluminum Tripod is a travel tripod with flexible central column. The FGP28A has a central column that can be used in all positions: from vertical, through horizontal to vertical down, and everything in between. This means that the camera does not have to be used above the center of the tripod - as with traditional tripods. And that is very nice for many forms of photography. Just think of macro photography or reproduction where an object lies flat on the floor or a table, or photographing from the Nadir (straight down) in 360-degree photography.
The legs of this tripod can be placed in three different angles, until almost flat on the ground. In combination with the flexible central column, this means that the camera can be positioned down to the ground. It is deal for macro photography or extreme positions. Furthermore, this tripod stands on strong and light aluminum legs, which are held by an extra strong heart of magnesium, complete with spirit level. By using magnesium in this 'spider' the weight is reduced by 20%, while the strength increases.
The retractable and tillable central column of the stand has a spring-loaded catch on the bottom where extra weight, for example a camera bag, can be hung to increase stability in extreme conditions. The Benro System GoPlus tripods are standard supplied with rubber feet and stainless steel spikes, allowing a stable stand of the tripod on all surfaces.
