The B+W UV filter MRC BASIC is a high-quality UV filter that also offers protection for your lens. The UV filter can be permanently applied to the lens for protection against dirt and impact. Furthermore, the filter blocks unwanted UV light and prevents a bluish or blurry haze in the photos.
The filter mount is made of brass and has a matte black finish that prevents reflection. Furthermore, it is provided with a Multi Resistant Coating.Thus, it guarantees maximum reflection reduction and minimizes disruptive stray light. As a result, brighter colours can be achieved and the contrast can be increased. In addition, the MRC coating protects the filter against scratches, grease and dust. Because a 7-layer coating is applied to both sides of the filter, the hardness of the filter is increased. This makes the filter less sensitive to external influences, and it lasts longer.
