The Aputure Storm 80c is an 80W compact point light source with adjustable colour and Mini ProLock Bowens mount. Portable, powerful and colourful. Take your light palette anywhere with this compact 80W point light source with the BLAIR-CG light source.

The STORM 80c's new BLAIR-CG light source is the best adjustable colour ever produced in an LED, with the widest range and highest colour accuracy. It can reach 90% of the Rec2020 colour space, achieving saturated colours in hues that would otherwise not be achievable, such as accurate yellow. The calibrated indigo emitter amplifies fluorescent materials, resulting in white light that better matches natural daylight and artificial light. CRI 97+, SSI [P3200]): 88, SSI (CIE D5600): 84.

The STORM 80c offers a class-leading CCT range and is the smallest and most portable lamp to do so. Its colour flexibility also offers 100% +/- green control, the full ASC MITC setting range.

The STORM 80c has a compact design and a detachable bracket, so you can take it anywhere. Without the bracket, the lamp measures just 15 x 10 x 122 cm and weighs 1 kg. The attachment points for the bracket are 3/8-inch threaded sockets, so common handles can be used to take the lamp anywhere. An optional Handle with battery holder is also available.

Mini ProLock Bowens mount
The STORM 80c features a mini version of the ProLock lockable Bowens mount, a more secure clamp design for attaching modifiers. Aputure offers modifiers with the Mini ProLock and an adapter for standard Bowens mount.

The STORM 80c can be powered by mains, V-mount Batteries or USB-C. Aputure makes an optional STORM 80c Handheld Bracket, with a V-mount battery plate and D-Tap cable. The STORM 80c also features a 100W USB-C port for direct power via low-cost and lightweight power banks.

The STORM 80c features professional connectivity options used in modern lighting: Sidus Mesh, CRMX and DMX (Adapter sold separately).

The IP65 dust and weather protection from head to toe ensures that the STORM 80c can operate in extreme conditions. Seals on each connector and around components make it possible to use the lamp outdoors in the rain.
