With a magnification of 7x, this viewer significantly expands your visual bearing area for visual navigation, allowing you to flawlessly take multiple accurate bearings. Using the scale projected in the image, if the height or size of the object is known, the distance to the object can be calculated. But if you know those, you can also determine the object height or object size.
Naturally, these typical water sports binoculars are filled with dry nitrogen gas to prevent internal fogging of the optics. The gas seal also immediately makes the viewer completely watertight. The light intensity of the Searanger is high, which can be of vital importance, especially on the water in poor visibility or low light. In short, the Searanger is a particularly robust porro viewer with a brilliantly clear image.
