Canon EOS C50 + RF 35mm f/1.8 Macro IS STM

Canon EOS C50

The Canon EOS C50 is a cinema camera specially designed for videographers looking for a compact camera with professional performance. This video-first camera has everything you need for a perfect workflow. Take advantage of advanced cine functions and 4K videos oversampled from 7K for the most beautiful productions.

The sensor is fully utilised thanks to Open Gate Recording. This makes it possible to shoot 7K60p footage. This is ideal for post-production editing where you can crop creatively. With dual recording, you shoot horizontal and vertical content at the same time. Ideal when you need footage for productions and social media. Shoot slow motion footage up to 120fps in 4K or 180fps in 2K. Your 4K footage is exceptionally sharp and detailed thanks to oversampling from 7K. The camera supports professional recording formats such as Cinema RAW Light, XF-AVC-S and HEVC-S. You also benefit from a large dynamic range with log profiles (Canon Log 2 and Log 3). Of course, it's important to be able to shoot without issues on set. The camera has an active cooling system built in, so you can record for long periods with ease.

Besides the impressive video performance, photography has also been considered, as this camera lets you take the most beautiful photos at 32 megapixels. This allows you to create perfect stills for your shots. The autofocus features Dual Pixel CMOS AF II with Eye AF and subject tracking, so both video and photography benefit from fast and reliable focusing.

The camera can be used in multiple ways. The design takes into account the use of rigs, gimbals, drones and steadycams. The detachable top handle includes full-size XLR connections and a zoom rocker, allowing the camera to easily connect to professional workflows. In addition, the camera offers extensive connectivity via HDMI type A, timecode, Ethernet, Wi-Fi and Canon's XC and CV protocols for integration with PTZ and multi-camera setups.

With the Canon EOS C50, you have a camera that is powerful enough to serve as your first camera or as an additional camera. Perfect for both freelancers and large production companies.
