TheZeiss ND Lens Gear Small allows you to instantly turn your camera lens into a film lens. It namely allows you to easily make use of the follow-focus system. It is good to know that the Zeiss Otus, Zeiss Milvus and Zeiss Loxia lenses are also compatible with Follow Focus systems. The Lens Gear ring is made of aluminum and has a hardened coating.
The Zeiss ND Lens Gear Small can easily slide over the lens and be attached to the Focus ring by turning the two rings in the opposite direction. It is supplied with a rubber band, the GumGum, which is provided with an adhesive surface. By using the GumGum it becomes suitable for 69-75mm lenses. This allows that the internal diameter can be adjusted to the size of the lens. Moreover, the GumGum also protects against scratches and other damage to the focus ring of the lens. The Zeiss ND Lens Gear Small is suitable for lenses with a diameter of 71-77mm, and 69-75mm with the GumGum.
