The Director's Monitor Cage v3 is designed to be universally compatible with all monitors up to 9 inches (measured diagonally) and can be mounted with 1, 4-20 mounting locations at the top, bottom or rear. The v3 version has 33% more weight reduction compared to the previous model and new features: two-way swing-away bracket, a quick-release neck strap, dual Teradek mounting areas and carbon fibre handles.

The Director's Monitor Cage v3 usually comes pre-assembled, with simple rod-based height adjustments. Handles can be quickly placed via the built-in 15mm clamps. The battery mounting plate features V-mount and Gold Mount mounting points, as well as two-way swing-away functionality for easy access to the back of the monitor and installed wireless devices. The battery bracket can be quickly removed when both swing clamps are released.

The included sunshade is adaptable to most monitors, and clicks directly onto the cage frame. The bottom of the hood is made of Velcro, which you can adjust to the correct width of the monitor and an included loop piece can be used to hook the bottom of the cage for more permanent shade attachment.

The tool-less design of the handles allows them to be folded for easy packing and can be used as a protective cover. Also included is a padded neck strap with four attachment points and quick release clips, Teradek mounting areas that allow up to two wireless receivers to be mounted side by side and a cable tie for cable management.
