Valoi Duster
The Valoi Duster is compatible with the Valoi 360 system and the Valoi easy120 system. Save hours in front of the computer spotting dust from your scans with this soft anti-static brush designed specifically for film and prevents scratches. The brushes are made to prevent build-up of static electricity, which prevents dust from sticking to the film or brushes. This keeps the brushes and film cleaner, even during prolonged use.
The double brush configuration of the Duster ensures that both sides are clean, unlike when you only use compressed air to blow away dust on only one side. The brushes are placed in an aluminium frame with screws. This ensures that it is both sturdy and clean, but you can also change the brushes with a standard screwdriver.
Use the Duster with medium format film. The brushes are about 70 mm wide, making them great for both 35 mm and medium format film.
The Duster is a set of anti-static brushes in a high-quality CNC-machined aluminium frame specifically designed to work with the 360 Advancer or the easy120. It attaches with thumbscrews to the threaded holes on the back of the Advancer. You can then run your film through the Duster before it goes into the film holder so that it is freshly dusted when scanned.
Remember to clean the brushes regularly by quickly running a clean finger through them a few times. You can also remove them to clean them. The brushes are user-replaceable.
