The Sigma 150-600mm F5.0-6.3 DG OS HSM Sports is suitable for the Nikon F system. The 150-600 is weatherproofed and has a zoom range of 150-600mm. This lens is constructed of 24 lens elements divided in 16 groups, including 2 FLD lens elements and three SLD lens elements.
The Sigma 150-600mm Sports series features an improved optical image stabilizer with an accelerometer for better control of the panning (tracking a fast moving object), both horizontally and vertically. This makes this lens particularly interesting for shooting birds, wildlife and motorsports. The image stabilizer has two modes that can be optimally adapt the accuracy of the accelerometer to the situation.
The lens is compatible with the Sigma USB Dock and Sigma has developed new software for the 150-600mm lens with which firmware from the lens can be updated and adjustments can be made, for example on the focus.
