Description
The Rollei Dashcam-408 was developed in order to be able to collect usable video evidence in court on the one hand but to comply with privacy legislation on the other hand. Thanks to its wide-angle lens and a practical brightness of F2.1, this modern dashcam continuously films all the action in front of your vehicle in Full HD resolution and a frame rate of 30 frames per second - but only saves the recordings automatically in the event of an accident or after manual emergency unlocking.
The new Rollei Dashcam-408 makes backing up important data very simple: mount the Dashcam-408 on the windscreen with the stable suction cup and plug the included 12V/24V car adapter directly into the standard cigarette lighter, the camera wakes up automatically and films in loop mode without permanently storing video when you start. Of course, the DashCam-408 turns off automatically after every ride. A highly sensitive and robust G-sensor starts emergency recording in case of an accident within a fraction of a second. You can also start saving manually if you find yourself in a difficult situation - simply by pressing the clearly visible emergency button. The accident recording includes a time span before and after the trip - long enough to capture the best Full HD quality on how the accident happened. The built-in microphone ensures that even voices, signals or other acoustic evidence are preserved.
To save the video documents, you can use a separately available microSD/SDHC memory card with capacities ranging from 8 to 64 GB (not included).
