The Pulsar Thermal imaging monocular Axion XG30 Compact is perfect for hunters who want to explore the possibilities of thermal imaging without spending a lot of money. Convenient and easy to carry, the Axion still offers high thermal sensitivity and many premium features, including Wi-Fi connectivity and the latest imaging algorithms.
The Axion is designed for constant, often heavy use. The magnesium alloy housing is both lightweight and robust. The housing reliably protects the internal components of a thermal imaging device from shock, drop, moisture, heat or cold. At the same time, the metal housing dissipates heat from the electronics, minimises image noise and increases the operational stability of the device during long-term observations.
The Germanium lens F30/1.0 offers high transmission in the long-wave infrared (LWIR) range. Thanks to the high-precision manufacture of the lens' optical elements, the image generated by the Axion Compact thermal imaging device's sensor is characterised by clarity and detail.
Thanks to a high-capacity APS3 rechargeable battery, the thermal imager can operate continuously for 8 hours on a single charge. Within seconds, the battery is removed from the battery housing and replaced with a new one. The battery is charged in a dedicated device or in the device from a PC, mains power system or power bank via USB-C. The same sources are used to supply external power to a thermal imaging device.
For the Axion XG Compact thermal imagers, the frequency range of the standard smartphone connection is supplemented by an effective 5GHz range via a 2.4GHz WiFi channel. The 5GHz connection provides better bandwidth, faster data transfer rate, noise immunity and improved connection stability, resulting in more productive and easier thermal imaging camera operation with a smartphone.
The Germanium F30/1.0 lens, combined with a highly sensitive 640x480 at 12 µm thermal imaging sensor, offers exceptional recording capabilities. A standard 1.8-metre-high object can be detected in complete darkness at a distance of up to 1,300 metres.
The Axion XG Compact thermal imagers are suitable for seeing in large areas, for observing while moving or for moving objects. The "Picture in Picture" function activates an additional window at the top of the screen in which the central area of the observed scene is displayed 2x or 4x enlarged. In this way, the information content of a wide field of view can be combined with detailed observation of the selected object.
Up to 8x digital zoom provides enhanced sharpness and better recognition of an object at long distances. The zoom can be adjusted gradually or continuously for a truly optimal field of view, tailored to the situation at hand.
The Axion XG Compact is characterised by a short switch-on time: after pressing the ON button, the device is fully functional within 5 seconds. The quick-start function helps save electricity: the Axion XG Compact does not need to remain constantly switched on during hunting, but can be quickly switched on when needed.
Waterproof to IPX7 to protect against heavy rain, snow or other moisture. The device is designed to function properly even when submerged in water to a depth of 1 metre for up to 30 minutes.
