The Tamron 70-180mm f/2.8 Di III VXD Sony FE is a light and compact standard zoom lens with a Sony FE mount. This lens is perfect for photographers looking for a lens that is always ready when you are. With VXD (Voice-coil eXtreme-torque Drive) autofocus, you can enjoy precise and fast focusing, ideal for photographers who want to push the limits of sports photography. The fast autofocus makes sure you always keep your subject sharp in the frame. With autofocus you can focus from 85 cm, and with manual focus even from 27 cm at 70mm. With a focal length range of 70 to 180mm, you get plenty of flexibility and versatility in a compact lens. Ideal for all kinds of situations and purposes.

This standard zoom lens has a lens construction of 14 groups with 19 elements. Because the lens is coated with a BBAR coating, reflections, flare, ghosting and vignetting are kept to a minimum. The front element also has an easy-to-clean fluorine coating. This makes the lens splash-proof and dust-proof. So it is easy to clean if any dirt gets on it by accident.
