Tamron 50-400 mm f/4.5-6.3 Di III VC VXD Sony FE

The Tamron 50-400 mm f/4.5-6.3 Di III VC lens is the first lens in a new line-up of high-quality ultra-telephoto zoom lenses for system cameras. The lens starts at the classic focal length of 50 mm and has 8x zoom. The lens is the same size as other 100-400 mm lenses currently available, but the wider angle of view makes the Tamron 50-400 mm f/4.5-6.3 Di III VC more versatile by comparison.

The lens has a compact and lightweight design. With a length of only 18.3 cm and a weight of 1155 g, the lens is extremely handy. Despite its compact design, the lens offers excellent image quality at any focal length. Even with the high magnification factor, the image is sharp and clear across the entire range due to the effective placement of special lens elements. Tamron's VXD linear focusing motor lets you focus lightning fast, accurately and quietly. Thanks to VC image stabilization, unwanted vibrations are prevented, so you can still shoot handheld even at 400 mm. The lens offers magnification up to half-size for close-up photography, making the Tamron 50-400 mm f/4.5-6.3 Di III VC even more versatile. Thanks to the close-up capabilities and a minimum focusing distance of 25 cm at 50 mm, you can also get started with macrophotography.

The lens is equipped with a variety of ergonomic features for added user comfort. The new design is not only light and compact but also features an improved grip. The USB-C connector port allows you to easily connect the lens to a laptop or computer and use the Tamron Lens Utility Software. In the Tamron Lens Utility Software, you adjust the lens to your liking and can install Firmware Updates.
