The Sony FE 70-200mm f/4.0 G OSS II is a full-frame telephoto zoom lens suitable for Sony FE-mount cameras. With a focal length range of 70-200mm, this lens offers you optimum flexibility. The wide range allows you to shoot different types of images. So you can use this lens well when taking portraits, but also for nature photography. With a maximum magnification of 0.5x, you get closer to your subject. Combined with a 2x teleconverter, you'll even enjoy 1:1 macro functions, allowing you to capture bright, close-up images.

Both up close and from afar, you take the sharpest images thanks to Optical SteadyShot image stabilisation. The maximum aperture of f/4.0 is constant across the entire focal length range. This lets you take the most beautiful images in all lighting conditions and enjoy a nice depth of field.

The Sony FE 70-200mm is equipped with four XD linear motors that allow you to experience fast and accurate autofocus when shooting and filming, even at 4K120p. As a result, your subject is always in focus. Besides autofocus, you can also focus manually by turning the focus ring.

This lens consists of 19 lens elements in 13 groups, including 3 ED (extra-low dispersion) elements, 1 Super ED element, 1 aspherical element and 1 AA (advanced aspherical) element. The ED lens elements ensure that light rays are less broken up, reducing lens errors. The aspherical lens elements counteract distortions and misalignment. The lens is also equipped with focus breathing compensation and has a Fluorine coating, making it water- and dust-resistant.
