The Panasonic Lumix DC-G9 is a flagship model in the Lumix G range, combining outstanding image quality with perfect mobility and ultra-fast shooting. The G9 features a 20.3 Megapixel Digital Live MOS sensor without a low-pass filter, which improves resolution, colour gradation and colour rendering. The Venus Engine processor uses the advanced Multipixel Luminance Generation and Intelligent Detail Processing functions to produce highly accurate and impressively natural images. With the new High Resolution mode, you can also create stunning 80 Megapixel (10368x7776) equivalent images in JPEG and RAW format, as eight consecutive shots are merged while the sensor shifts. The Body I.S. (Image Stabilizer) of the Lumix G9 has been improved even further thanks to a new algorithm, so you can take stable handheld shots, even when shooting with a longer shutter speed. It is now possible to shoot at shutter speeds up to 6.5 stops slower with the same sharp results. The G9 also offers the world's fastest focusing speed of just 0.04 seconds and fast AF tracking performance, so you can easily keep following your subject. For precise focusing, the number of focus areas has been increased from 49 to 225. You can create a group from these 225 points and then move it or change its size, depending on the composition you want. A leading frame rate of 20fps is possible at full resolution with continuous autofocus (AF-C), and when you focus on the first frame (AF-S) you benefit from an impressive burst rate of 60fps. The G9 also has a blackout-free Live View Finder, making it the best mirrorless camera for capturing moving subjects sharply.
The Panasonic Lumix DC-G9 can be operated quickly from the LCD screen. It is also a user-friendly camera with a joystick and control buttons that can be operated by hand. Thanks to a front and rear frame made entirely of cast magnesium alloy, this camera is ready for all weather conditions. It is splash-proof, dustproof and freezeproof down to -10 degrees Celsius. The two SD memory card slots are both compatible with the fast UHS-II format and can be used as you prefer: as extra storage and as a backup for different types of media. For quickly sharing your photos, you can use the Bluetooth and WiFi functionality.
