The Leica APO-Vario Elmarit SL 90-280mm F2.8-4 guarantees superior sharpness in the entire zoom range, thanks to unique double internal focusing with floating lens elements. The autofocus is quick, silent and highly accurate. The housing is dust and water proof, with the front and rear lens coated with the famous Leica AquaDura coating. This coating is water repellent, guaranteeing sharp footage even under the most challenging circumstances.

The Leica APO-Vario Elmarit SL 90-280mm F2.8-4 has built-in Optical Leica Image Stabilization (OIS). A lockable rotating tripod collar allows the lens to be fixed at any angle. The collar has detents every 90 degrees for rapid switching from landscape to portrait format. Because of the shortest focus distance of a mere 81 centimetres, it is possible to make impressive close-ups up to F4.8.
