Leica M10-D body zwart
The Leica M10-D Body black combines the inspiring qualities of shooting on film with the convenience and quality of digital photography. The rangefinder delivers an extremely straightforward shooting experience, together with the imaging capabilities of Leica's flagship M-series camera. By leaving out nearly all automatic functions, as well as the LCD screen on the back, simplicity becomes the core attribute of the M10-D and gives you unrestricted access to the four basic elements of photography: shutter speed, aperture, ISO and focus. This principle carries over to the camera's controls, including the manual focusing mechanism of the rangefinder, an optical viewfinder with 0.73x magnification and still-image-only shooting. Besides its controls and design, the M10-D retains the image performance the M-series is known for, including the full frame 24MP CMOS sensor and Maestro II image processor, along with a sensitivity range of ISO 100-50000 and up to 5fps continuous shooting. The main goal of the M10-D is to let the photographer concentrate on the moment of the shot and not be distracted by complicated menus.
The redeveloped full frame 24 megapixel CMOS sensor, paired with the Maestro II image processor, delivers a wide dynamic range with remarkable colour rendering and increased ISO sensitivity for working in varying lighting conditions. In addition, the image processor includes a 2GB buffer that enables fast continuous shooting at 5fps for up to 40 consecutive images in a burst.
The optical viewfinder is a large, bright-line 0.73x magnification rangefinder viewfinder. It features automatic parallax compensation and bright-line frame lines, which are set to match the image sensor at a focusing distance of 2 metres. On the front of the camera is a selector lever that lets you manually change the visible field of view to preview the scene at varying focal lengths, available in the options 35mm/135mm, 28mm/90mm and 50mm/75mm.
The rangefinder mechanism shows split or superimposed field images in the centre of the viewfinder, so you can benefit from precise manual focus control. The effective rangefinder base length is 50.6mm (mechanical base length 69.31mm x optical magnification of 0.73x).
The built-in Wi-Fi lets you share images directly with a paired mobile device and also enables remote control of the M10-D and remote shooting via live view. This works with the Leica FOTOS app for iOS and Android, which also lets you adjust camera settings such as date/time, JPEG/DNG capture, SD card formatting and other rarely needed functions.
