DJI RS 3 Mini
The DJI RS 3 Mini is the very first Mini version in the RS series. Compared to the RS 3 Pro and the RS 3, the RS 3 Mini weighs 50% less, but it certainly doesn't fall short of its bigger siblings. The RS 3 Mini can carry your camera bundle up to a weight of 2 kg.
The DJI RS 3 Mini offers multiple features so you can get the most out of your footage. You can easily switch between landscape and portrait orientation without needing any extra accessories. All you have to do is attach the standard Quick-Release Plate to the vertical arm of the gimbal and you're ready for action. Ideal for filming content for social media platforms. On the gimbal you'll find a switch (the M button) to toggle between Pan-Follow (PF), Pan-Tilt-Follow (PTF) and First-Person-View (FPV) modes. Just like with the DJI RS 3, you can use the Ronin app with the Mini 3 for even more creativity and capture beautiful timelapses, tracks and panoramas.
The camera and the gimbal are easy to operate thanks to the gimbal's intuitive design. This gimbal comes with the same Bluetooth shutter remote as the DJI RS 3 Pro, and once connected you can easily control the video and photo recording functions via the record button on the gimbal. The gimbal itself has a 1.4" full-colour touchscreen that lets you adjust most of the gimbal's functions without using the app. This gives you quick access to frequently used settings. Finally, just like with the other gimbals in the RS series, you get an ergonomic dial for adjusting ISO, aperture, focus and the gimbal's three axes.
You mount the camera on the gimbal in no time thanks to the double-layer quick release plate. This quick release plate is designed with a curved positioning guide so the camera doesn't rotate or come loose. The plate is also ARCA-compatible, so you can easily switch between different tripods. The DJI RS 3 Mini also has a NATO port, so you can combine a variety of accessories and create your own setup. By combining the DJI RS 3 Mini with the DJI Mic, all your videos get crystal-clear audio. The design of the DJI Mic makes it ready to use straight away. You can transmit up to 250 metres for up to 15 hours. The transmitters are lightweight and can be worn hidden under clothing.
With the gimbal you can record for up to 10 hours in a row. Is the gimbal out of power? Then you can fully recharge it within 2.5 hours and get back to work. You can even use the gimbal while it's charging, so you're always up and running.
