Canon GP-E2 GPS

The Canon GP-E2 GPS is a compact and lightweight GPS device that lets photographers easily add geographical information to their shots. The GP-E2 is compatible with the EOS-1D X, EOS 7D, EOS 5D Mark III and the Canon EOS M. This GPS adds latitude and longitude data to your photos, along with the direction in which the shot was taken. This information is added to the EXIF file of the image.

A GPS Logger function also lets you track your route by downloading GPS data at regular intervals, whether the device is connected to the camera or stored in a camera bag. Once back in the studio, you can combine the saved GPS data from the log files with the photos you took and display the entire route with Google Maps or the supplied Map Utility software.
