The Peak Design Travel Backpack 45L is an exceptionally versatile, durable and appealing carry-on backpack underpinned by a simple truth: no two trips are the same. 

The backpack can be opened from the top, sides, and front and back sides thanks to intuitively placed water-repellent zips. A particularly practical feature is the option of fully unzipping the back to gain complete access in a way you normally only get with a suitcase. The front compartment has several individual pockets for easy organisation of your belongings. Plus, the divider in the front compartment can be fully unzipped and stowed to create a single large compartment.

The front has an easy-access small pocket for a phone or sunglasses, for instance. This compartment is lined with soft material to prevent scratches. 

The side pockets are compact and made of flexible material. A water bottle will stay securely in place, but a compact tripod will fit too. Inside pockets are concealed in the side pockets to hide important items. There is also a special pocket for your business cards. The hip straps have pockets for easy, quick access to items you need to keep close at hand. Two straps, combined with multiple attachment points, allow you to carry large objects on the outside of the bag, such as a large tripod.

The Peak Design Travel Backpack 45L Backpack is compact enough to go on a plane as carry-on luggage when zipped into the standard 35 litre mode. If you need to carry a lot of gear, open the expansion zips and unfold the backpack to a generous 45 litres. If you're carrying just a few items, tighten the compression straps to shrink the bag to a compact 30 litres. 

The inside of the bag features multiple pockets. The main compartment can be divided into two with a zipped divider. The shoulder and hip straps fold away completely and stay in place thanks to the unique magnetic design. The bag is made of water-repellent 400D Nylon with an extra tough 900D Nylon base layer. Handles are located on the sides, top and back. So you can easily grab and go. 

Security has also been thought of. The zips of the main compartment have a clever anti-theft design, and the zips at the top can be completely tucked away. For added security, all the zips can also be secured with a cable lock. 

This bag is optimised for use with other Peak Design accessories such as the Capture Clip, Packing Cubes and Camera Cubes.
