The Panasonic Lumix DC-S1H is the third full-frame mirrorless camera in Panasonic’s S series. This camera is completely tailored to film makers and cinematographers. It can film in 6K resolution at 24 fps at a ratio of 3:2. 5.9K quality is possible at 30 fps in 16:9 format. The Cinema 4K mode makes internal recording possible at 10-bit 60 p, as well as in a 4:3 Anamorphic mode. The S1H offers V-log and V-Gamut settings with a wide dynamic range of 14+ stops. This is equivalent to Panasonic's professional Varicam cinema camera. With a full range of log settings built in, this camera is a film maker's dream. To prevent overheating with such large files, the camera is slightly larger than the S1R and will automatically switch off when too much heat is generated. The S1H has an unlimited recording possibility. You can keep filming until the memory card is full. And even then, you can continue filming, because the camera has two SD card slots. Your images are more stable than ever with 6-stop in-body image stabilisation. Panasonic's Dual I.S. gives you even more stable video in combination with various lenses. The camera has a total of 225 contrast-detection points and with the Depth-From-Defocus technology, this provides very fast autofocus. Comparable to the other S-series cameras, it focuses in just 0.08 seconds. In addition, the AF is equipped with smart functions so that it accurately follows people and animals and keeps them in focus, even during rapid movements.

Besides all the functions for beautiful cinematic images, the S1H contains various photo functions that can also be found in other Panasonic cameras. There is a High Resolution mode on which the S1H takes photos of no less than 96 megapixels. The 6K and 4K Photo-function takes high resolution photos in fast bursts. Up to 30fps for 18-megapixel photos and even 60fps with 8-megapixel resolution, so you'll never miss an important moment.
